The following is the main content of an Affiliate Newsletter (submitted through the ShareASale system on Thursday, May 26). Note, please that this applies to the GirlyChecks progam on both buy.at and SAS, and to the BusinessChecks Program on SAS.

Hello and Happy Memorial Day,

With Memorial Day upon us you will now start EARNING MORE with our Checks program at GirlyChecks.com. Note that is NOT a “holiday special” or a promo lasting only a few days. This is ongoing – your commissions just got better – YOU ARE NOW THE BEST PAID AFFILIATES IN THE CHECKS VERTICAL.

As of today (May 26th) we now pay you commissions on the full order – INCLUDING SHIPPING.
What does this mean for you? Shipping accounts for anywhere from 25% up to 50% of a checks order (usually about one-third). So we have effectively just increased your AOV and, therefore commissions, by about one-third.

A typical example is from our last affiliate sale (before this writing): 2 sets of Boxer Puppy Checks with EZ-Shield has a product total of $33.88, and at %25 commission, that pays you $8.47. However the shipping on that order (priority shipping) is $10.99, bringing the Grand Total on the order to $44.87. Your NEW COMMISSION is $11.21. That is an increase of $2.74 – for an earnings increase of one-third.

No one else in the checks industry has a payout this high – and lifetime cookies, too. You can earn some serious money by promoting our products. If you are promoting checks from a variety of merchants, moving our products to the top of your pages will earn you more. And if you can sell a LOT of checks and want to earn at an even higher rate – let’s talk.

Don’t forget our large inventory of product designs that your customers will love. Girly Checks now has over 600 quality check designs in the personal checks line. There are “matching” address labels, offered as an up-sell, for nearly all of them – which also increases your AOV. We also have a “very competitively priced” line of Business Checks, a good assortment of leather and vinyl checkbook covers and a line of custom pre-inked stamps.

We are pleased, excited and proud to announce that Jill Swartwout, President of the Beaches and Towns Network, Inc (parent company of GirlyChecks.com), will become the Affiliate Manager for the Carousel Family of Checks Programs. In a move to consolidate marketing efforts, in-plant production, and to provide the ultimate in checks choices for online shoppers, we are merging GirlyChecks.com and BusinessChecks.org with the Carsousel Checks “family,” which at this time includes CarouselChecks.com and (also merging) ExtraValueChecks.com.

So, what does this mean for affiliates of the GirlyCheck.com and BusinessChecks.org programs? Nothing will change in the apparent structure of the programs. Both programs will remain at ShareASale – and GirlyChecks will continue with the planned expansion to the buy.at network.

Advantages are many, and will result in additional offerings to our customers because the (present) four companies in the merger will have access to combined resources. Each entity in the merger will remain as a distinct brand – each with its own growing, and unique, inventory. Economy of scale will allow us to increase service and on-site offerings, yet decrease production costs. We will soon (anticipating mid-June) be increasing commissions to make our affilites the best-paid in the industry. (We figure affiliates will like that part ).

Jill will become the full time Affiliate Manager for the current four programs in the merger and new ones to come on board in the near future. She will be seeing our friends, colleagues and affiliates at Industry Events to discuss the advantages of working with our “family” of checks programs.

Bill will continue to oversee the day-to-day operation of GirlyChecks.com and BusinessChecks.org. He will continue working to increase the growing and popular inventory there and looks forward to growing the affiliate base with new and unique products and a higher earnings potential for participants in the programs.

Our customers can now design their own pre-inked stamps. Name & Address and Check Endorsement Stamps are our most popular designs. They are now “designed” right on the screen in the shopping cart and makes it easy to visualize the finished product. Customers love this functionality.

We just (April 25th) launched a new and important item on our Personal Checks affiliate program site. This is super-exciting because we have been asked about it by customers and it definitely increases AOV. Why? Because it is an easy and, more important, a logical up-sell.
